Hi All,

<P>I have recently purchased an Epson 1240U USB scanner.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
I'm using:
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P> kernel 2.4.4 with USB compiled into the kernel.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
sane 1.0.4 patched with epson backend version 0.2.05
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>I'm having problems with the actual scan.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>I will start receiving data from the scanner but then the data just stops.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
The epson backend seems to block and never return on a read() from the scanner.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
Specifically the read() from the USB connection in the receive() function.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>If anyone would like an SANE_EPSON_DEBUG=255 dump just let me know
|
|
<BR>
|
|
and I'll email it to you.
|
|
