<P>Here my problem:

I can't use the gimp-plugin of xscanimage.
|
|

|
|
When i type : scanimage -L - no scanners found
|
|
<BR>
|
|
When i type : scanimage -d epson - all scanns are o.k.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
The backend is o.k.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>When i type : xscanimage - no scanners found
|
|
<BR>
|
|
When i type : xscanimage epson - all scanns are o.k.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
The frontend is o.k.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>Now the gimp-problem:
|
|
<BR>
|
|
starting gimp in the console in a window. -o.k.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
Now i select in the menu Xtns/acquiere Image/Device dialog.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
In the console comes :
|
|
<BR>
|
|
[xscanimage] No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something
|
|
<BR>
|
|
different, check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and
|
|
<BR>
|
|
detected by the find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read
|
|
<BR>
|
|
the documentation which came with this software (README, FAQ,
|
|
<BR>
|
|
manpages).
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>Where can i say xscanimage that it use the epsonscanner when i use gimp?
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>Sorry for my bad english.
