Unpon further inspection of my kernel logfile, I
noticed that there were several commands for which the
transfer->status was not 0. It was instead ffffff99.
It happened for both reads and writes, seemingly
independent of data length. Does this indicate a
failed data transfer, and if so what is the
definitions of this particular status?

Thanks,
Clark
