Hi Henning,
Thank you for your kindness.

hmg-ml> Look at the output of configure in sane-frontends. It will say if it's
hmg-ml> compiled with support for the Gimp-plugin.
It said,,,
checking for libgimp/gimp.h... (cached) no

But, I found gimp.h by...
#locate gimp.h
under /usr/local/include/libgimp

hmg-ml> > 1.Install SANE ver.1.0.4 from source code.
Sorry, I installed SANE Ver 1.0.3 from source code

hmg-ml> Are you sure that you also installed the Gimp headers? What's the
hmg-ml> result of gimp-config --version? If you install gimp from a RPM
hmg-ml> package the headers a probably in a package called gimp-devel or
hmg-ml> similar.

Yes, and gimp-config --version result was..
#gimp-config --version
1.0.2

By the way, xsane's configuration result is
"checking for libgimp/gimp.h... (cached) yes"
and xsane is called from gimp(Ver.1.0.2) fine.

My environment is,
Vine Linux (Red Hat 6.1 base) kernel 2.2.17
glib 1.2.8

Thanks in advance.
