Have you downloaded and installed the snapscan driver from

sourceforge? It corrects a few known color-scanning issues.

When scanning (after rebooting), the color option doesn't transfer the image. I does

scan, but no actual data transfer takes place. This _does_ work under grayscale and

line art. I also tried several resolutions. The progress bar in the small window doesn't

even appear when colour is selected.
