Hi

I just bought an Agfa SnapScan 1236s. I'd like to get to use it with
OS/2 (perhaps also the various unix flavours I have on my PC).

So far I have
a load of asa[PID] files
a few core dumps
one trap D
a small amount of output (before scanimage hangs)

The -T option fails all tests.

The build process under OS/2 is far from automatic: config.h is wrong,
the recursive make doesn't work, autoconf doesn't work well. It took me
about 3 evenings to build the 1.0.3 exes. Lastly, the
tools/sane-configure script is far from complete.

A few of questions:

Is there any decent doc on building sane?
Ditto, installation.
Is there anyone working on the snapscan backend?
Is there anyone working on OS/2 on this list (I'm already subscribed to
sane-os2 on eGroups, but there're only 2 other developers there, and
they currently have no time for sane).

A bientot
Paul
