<P>That's interesting. I've got reports from Snapscan 1212U owners about USB-bus

lockups when using my patched snapscan backend. The problem was traced to

|
the self-test command. After filtering out this command in the USB
|
|
<BR>
|
|
command sending routines the scanner has worked perfectly.
