Hi Lineart-Fans,

<P>some xsane-versions ago I added some new lineart related functions to xane.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
I was to lazy until now to write a doc for that so I give a short explaination here:
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>xsane can do a grayscale preview when lineart mode is selected, it converts the
|
|
<BR>
|
|
grayscale to a black/white image afterwards. That way the threshold value can
|
|
<BR>
|
|
be changed and you see the results without a new preview scan.
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>How to use it:
|
|
<BR>
|
|
Menu preferences->setup, notebook "device options"
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>select threshold option grayscale->lineart and enter the
|
|
<BR>
|
|
exactly original (not translated => english) name of the grayscale scanmode (eg Gray)
|
|
<BR>
|
|
<P>The four values should normally be ok.
|
|
