Hi Everyone,<br>

||
I recently purchased a Microtek SlimScan C3 Parallel Port Scanner as I<br>
|
||
dont have a SCSI card, and as you all probably know, its unsupported.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
The interesting thing is, the SlimScan C3, C6, ScanMaker X6 and V636 seem<br>
|
||
to all use the same drivers, the only difference is the parallel port<br>
|
||
models use a virtual scsi device which sends the commands over the<br>
|
||
parellel port, a la parallel port zip drives.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
I was wondering if there was any plan in the future to try to support<br>
|
||
these Microtek parallel port scanners? I wouldnt mind being a guinea pig<br>
|
||
or helping out in any way I could, however I dont know C well enough to do<br>
|
||
anything useful in that area.<br>
|
