Set it up to scan in GIMP and see if it works there. To use in GIMP put a linkin ~/.gimp/plug-ins<br>
|

ex: ln -s /usr/local/bin/xscanimage ~/.gimp/plug-ins/xscan<br>
|
||
<p>

||
then xscan should appeear in GIMP xtrns menu.<br>
|
||
If it still doesn't work, look at the /dev/sgd permissions.<br>
|
||
