Hi all !<br>

I have HP ScanJet 3p scanner, that ships with C2502 card.<br>
|
||
It works Ok in Windows (both 95 and NT)<br>
|
||
The sane HP scanner faq tells that this card is supported by g_NCR5380<br>
|
||
driver.<br>
|
||
I've tried to load g_NCR5380 module with irq and io set to that is<br>
|
||
the default in windows:<br>
|
||
ncr_irq=5 ncr_addr=0x280 ncr_53C400a=1<br>
|
||
but it have not found an adapter.<br>
|
||
I also have dtc3181e card that ships with Mustek 1200SP scanner.<br>
|
||
This one have been found by g_NCR5380 module in no-irq non-pnp mode<br>
|
||
with:<br>
|
||
ncr_irq=5 ncr_addr=0x280 dtc_3181=1<br>
|
||
But works not perfect. Scanning is very slow, and my system even hung<br>
|
||
one time, when I choose too high resolution.<br>
|
||
I know that this card has an IRQ in PNP mode but it also don't<br>
|
||
initialized by the driver in this mode.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
Is Sym53c400A is a better choice than dtc3181e for SANE ?<br>
|
||
What i should do to make it work.<br>
|
||

||
There is a fresh copy of RedHat 6.1 (2.2.12-20) on my box, I don't<br>
|
||
recompile the kernel yet. So here is the default to RedHat 6.1 SCSI<br>
|
||
configuration.<br>
