Hi Bernd,

I forgot to mention in my previous mail that I am still unable to detect the two PNM pseudo-devices with "find-scanner" or "sane --list-devices". In addition, I can't use xscanimage or xsane as a GIMP plug-in, as they never show up in the menu, even if I copy or link the binaries to the ~/gimp/plug-ins directory or the /usr/lib/gimp/plug-ins directory and rebuild the plug-in database.
Does somebody have a similar behaviour on Debian 2.1 (Slink) system?

Levente
