I solved my scanner problems yesterday!!<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
My Snapscan 600 now works to 100% in linux.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
Done:<br>
|
||
Re-compiled kernel 2.2.5 with scsi support, made sure that<br>
|
||
find-scanner detected my snapscan.<br>
|
||
(That was the easy part)<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
Got myself some updated sourcefiles (sg, snapscan-backend<br>
|
||
and the latest sane) Compiled the stuff and got a whole bunch<br>
|
||
of errors when trying to create the xscanimage binary, copied<br>
|
||
the working binary from my distribution disk and suddenly it<br>
|
||
all worked :-)<br>
