Note, that this is legal behaviour for a SANE backend. It is not<br>

recommended, though. <br>

The reason is, that options can influence the available range or stepping of<br>
|
||
other options.<br>
|
||

||
It should generally be handled in a benign way in the backend, that is, the<br>
|
||
backend should not needlessly reset already set parameters, but rather try<br>
|
||
to match them to the new constraints as good as it can.<br>
