Well I did a Deja News search for any info I could find about my Acer<br>
|
|
620S scanner. In the comp.periphs.scanners newsgroup I found several<br>
|
|
mentions about SANE developement but I also found the following:<br>

Which was from the developer of a tool called vuescan named Ed Hamrick.<br>
|
|
He had made his SCSI snooping tool available for people to use with there<br>
|
|
film scanners. He would then have the traces emailed to him for support<br>
|
|
of his product on their scanner. I downloaded it and simply used it to<br>
|
|
interogate my scanner for MY purposes :^)<br>

I don't see the tool available on his Web page anymore but perhaps he<br>
|
|
will give it to you if you ask.<br>
