Hi,

An update of the microtek2 backend is available on

ftp://ftp.muc.de/people/bernds/mtek2/microtek2-pre0.6.280399.tar.gz .

Besides the changes mailed yesterday, this version includes a real solution
for the problem that all color scans after one successful color scan are
corrupted on an X6, X6EL or Phantom 636. The workaround in previous versions
was to perform a BW scan before each color scan in this infamous function
do_dummy_scan(), which seemed to reset the scanner to a normal state.
Obviously it is not always a good idea to conform to the documentation...

I have tested this on an X6 with FW-version 1.20, but would like to hear
if it works for other models, too, before finally removing this
do_dummy_scan() function completely from the code.

Bernd
