Hi!<br>

||
I know this is most probably the wrong place to ask, but I'm desperate<br>
|
||
and this was the only mailing list I found on the snae web-site....<br>
|
||
I'm a bit of a newbie to Linux and I wanted to get my scanner (a HP<br>
|
||
ScanJet 5100C) to work under Linux. SANE came highly recommended so I<br>
|
||
checked it our and downloaded and installed it (I think). But now I'm<br>
|
||
stuck, I have some sane stuff but I have no idea how to set it up and<br>
|
||
get it working. The documentation is just on about how wonderful sane is<br>
|
||
and how to programm for it but it doesn't seem to mention how to get it<br>
|
||
working in the first place. Therefore I was wondering whether you would<br>
|
||
make sane live up to its name (scanner access now EASY) and help me out.<br>
|
||
I would be extremely grateful if you could either tell me where I can<br>
|
||
find help or possibly help me directly.<br>
|
||
