Hi All,  <br>

   I have a bit of a problem I was hoping someone might know something about.<br>
I have a hp scanjet 6250 and when I'm scanning from the ADF I <br>
tend to get vertical lines running down my images.  The lines are<br>
not terribly pronounced but still annoying.  The hp documentation <br>
that came with the scanner suggests that the ADF might need to be<br>
cleaned however the scanner is brand new and besides which they <br>
provide no information about how to clean in the manual anyways.  I <br>
am using a version of the hp sane drivers that I downloaded about<br>
two weeks ago.  If anyone has any tips on how to fix this or if not<br>
could suggest another scanner that they've had clean results with that<br>
includes an ADF it would be much appreciated.  I spoke with HP tech <br>
support about this but they wouldn't even talk to me since I <br>
was using LINUX.  It was very annoying.  <br>
