Hello all!

I´ve got a problem here with a mustek SE 12000SP under Linux 2.0.36. I had it
running with an Adaptec ah1542 SCSI Controller, but while scanning the system
load went to infinity and I couldn´t even move the mouse cursor on sreen while
scanning.

Now I use a ncr810 SCSI Controller for scanning (Asus sc200).
Ebverything lokked fine first, but now I can see the horizontal lines
described in the sane-mustek man page. They appear in color and grey mode.
As suggested, i enabled the linedistanc-fix option in my
/etc/sane.d/mustek.conf file, but it seems to make no difference betweeen
enabling or disabling it.

This is what i get as debugging output:

---snip-----------
[~] $ SANE_DEBUG_MUSTEK=128 scanimage -h -v -d mustek > /dev/null
[sanei_init_debug]: Setting debug level of mustek to 128.
[mustek] sane_init: strip-height set to 1 inches
[mustek] attach: opening /dev/scanner as scsi device
[mustek] attach: sending INQUIRY
[mustek] scsi_wait_ready: sending TEST_UNIT_READY
[mustek] attach: firmware revision 2.02
[mustek] attach: found Mustek scanner model C06 S12IDW (flatbed scanner),
1-pass, SE
[mustek] sane_init: enabling linedistance-fix for /dev/scanner
--snap ------------

My /etc/sane.d/mustek.conf locks like this

--snip-----------------------
option strip-height 1

/dev/scanner
option linedistance-fix
--snap-----------------------

So what can I do to get rid of these lines? Any help would be great...

Thanks

Frank
