Absolutely. All parallel port (USB, Firewire, and SCSI, too) devices will<br>
be supported in the future as long as their owners or their vendors are<br>
willing to write drivers. ;^)<br>
<p>
Seriously, some of the developers are making headway with certain parallel<br>
port scanners. I'm sure the lessons learned from those can (and will be)<br>
applied to other ports in the future.<br>
<p>
The only thing I can ask you to do for now is to wait or to buy one of the<br>
supported SCSI scanners. (Sorry.)<br>
