My Umax 1220S tends to scan darker that the actual image being scanned. I<br>
|
||
can usually correct for this by setting the gamma >1 in color mode. In<br>
|
||
grey-scale or line-art mode, the scan also comes out darker. So I try to<br>
|
||
change the intensity gamma under grey-scale, but the picture turns out<br>
|
||
either black or is washed out (nearly all grey). Can someone help me set<br>
|
||
the correct intensity gamma for b/w? I wish xscanimage or scanimage has a<br>
|
||
brightness control for this scanner.<br>

Umax 1220S scanner<br>

||
SANE v1.00 with sane-umax1.00a patch<br>

compiled with gtk v0.99.13<br>

||
