Hi,
I just downloaded sane-1.0 ...
but at first there was this problem with the configure-script - and then
sane seems not to work for me:

I have a Mustek ScanExpress 12000SP, an i use(d) it sucessfully with
sane-0.71-0.73 and the mustek[ch]-0.1 till mustek.[ch]-0.5 . But when
using the V 1.0 there is a noise which makes me extreme nervously:
It sounds like the scanner would try to go into the wrong direction ...
and it can't go, because there is the case ...

May somebody tell me, that sane-1.0 works for him sucessfully for him
with a Mustek Scanexpress 12000SP ?

Thanks
Christian

My system: K5-133, 64 Mb, NCR810, Linux 2.0.35...
scanning invoked by: ./scanimage -d mustek:/dev/scanner

(i did not made 'make install' , but this shouldn't be the problem,
because i always tested the new sane, before i installed it)

> * Updated Mustek backend (patches by Andreas Bolsch and Heiko Schroeder)
