> can anyone recommend a SCSI scanner with automatic document feeder
which
> is known to work with Linux+SANE?
>
> What about HP 6250C?

The hp backend should support the scanner. But there is no special
support for the ADF. Therefore you have to press the scan button for
each sheet in the feeder.
> I have tried to get an EPSON GT-7000 scanner work with SANE. I tried the
> latest SANE versions with OS/2 (Warp4, FP7) and Linux (SuSE 5.3). No
> success in both cases. The hardware (SCSI card and scanner) is
> recognized under both OS.
> Is someone out there having the GT-7000 working with OS/2 or Linux (with
> SANE or other software) ??? Any hints or information appreciated !

I have a GT-6500 Parallel and a GT-9500 SCSI working using sane 0.74.

Please send some debug output or other problem description so we can find a
solution for you.

Regards,
Oliver.
