Hey...my family recently puchased me a gift- a Mustek scanner! I was<br>
|
||
elated to get it, but less than elated trying to get it to work under<br>
|
||
Linux. The Mustek 1200 III EP screws into the printer port, using no<br>
|
||
special hardware of its own. So far, all the drivers out there I've seen<br>
|
||
support only SCSI scanners (and a few with their own interface cards).<br>
|
||
What can I do to get this scanner to work? Am I going to have to try and<br>
|
||
write my own driver for it? If so, is there any information out there<br>
|
||
that will make doing so less...uhm...painful?<br>
|
||
