Probably there is nobody up to now, who has this model working with sane.<br>
|
||
But I have a version of the backend, that, according to the reports of<br>
|
||
some few people, works to a reasonable degree with a ScanMaker 636, which,<br>
|
||
according to the specifications, is more or less the same as the X6EL.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
So, perhaps it is possible to get the X6EL running with sane with some<br>
|
||
little changes to the backend.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
But, I am a bit surprised of the output of the cdrecord program:<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||

This vendor string is typical for Microtek scanners.<br>

||
