Hi all,

I am having trouble getting SANE to work. The scanner is connected and
can be seen by the card:

# cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: HP Model: HP35480A Rev: 9 09
Type: Sequential-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 04 Lun: 00
Vendor: HP Model: C5110A Rev: 3701
Type: Processor ANSI SCSI revision: 02

And find-scanner tells me it's found a 'processor' at /dev/sgb and
/dev/scanner (which is linked to /dev/sgb obviously)

# find-scanner
find-scanner: found processor "HP C5110A 3701" at device /dev/scanner
find-scanner: found processor "HP C5110A 3701" at device /dev/sgb

But this just sits there - for hours.

# scanimage --find-devices

The config files point at /dev/scanner, and 0.73 was first compiled and
installed from a tarball (same problem) then replaced with the 0.74 RPM.

Hopefully it is something simple. I haven't tried it without the tape
drive connected because even if it does work it will be of no use to me
(as I need the tape more than the scanner).

Any help would be most appreciated.
