Well, you're right, that's probably the reason for<br>
|
|
some corrupted lines at the very beginning.<br>
|
|
But I've tried 127kB as well. And the size of the<br>
|
|
temporary buffer is not related to the max. <br>
|
|
request size but to the actual line distance.<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
And when I first used the SCSI card supplied with<br>
|
|
the scanner the problem even occured at 150dpi.<br>
|
|
Furthermore with 64kB request size I've no trouble<br>
|
|
(except some lines at the very beginning) even<br>
|
|
at 600dpi, whereas with 127kB 600dpi never worked<br>
|
|
for me.<br>
|
|

|
But maybe your problem is different. If only the colors<br>
|
|
are wrong this suggests a problem in the line distance<br>
|
|
correction. However, I had parts of the image<br>
|
|
shifted to the right/left (like a staircase). As the<br>
|
|
line distance code works only with integral multiples<br>
|
|
of "bpc" I can't image how this could happen there.<br>
|
|

|
|
But anyway I can't work on the backend this or next<br>
|
|
week because I'll be abroad.<br>
|
|
