Having upgraded to sane-0.73 recently, I now noticed that the /dev/scanner<br>
|
|
link to my scanner device (/dev/sge) is no longer neccessary. In fact, it<br>
|
|
seems to be more of a nuisance (causing me to answer an extra dialog box<br>
|
|
when engaging xscanimage).<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
Could someone enlighten me, or point me at the updated documentation?<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
Also, I have documented compilation and installation of GTK, GIMP and<br>
|
|
SANE on my homepage. Please inspect it for accuracy if you have a chance.<br>
|
|
