Back in my WinDOZE days, I purchased a parallel-port scanner which<br>
|
||
plugged directly into my printer port. There is no interface card for<br>
|
||
this scanner. All of its software is Windows driven and they have no<br>
|
||
software (I checked their web site) for Unix. I am using a stand-alone<br>
|
||
machine running Slackware Linux 3.0 (with a 2.0.25 kernel). The scanner<br>
|
||
I bought is an EasyPhoto SmartPage, by Storm.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
If there is no hope for this scanner, what scanner would you recommend<br>
|
||
for me to buy (best quality, moderate price)?<br>
|
||
