Just passing along a success story. I compiled and seem to be successfully<br>
|
|
running:<br>
|
|
sane-0.72<br>
|
|
gtk-1.0<br>
|
|
gimp-0.99.28<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
A couple of comments:<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
A) When acquiring a preview, the acquire-preview-button should<br>
|
|
be disabled. I accidentally hit is again during a running<br>
|
|
acquisition, and everything locked<br>
|
|
up. Killing the processes did fix the lock up.<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
B) Using the mouse to outline a scanning selection in the preview<br>
|
|
window works great. But updating the numbers in the main<br>
|
|
windows does not adjust the selection box in the acquire preview<br>
|
|
window. I also like the cross-hairs selector that others<br>
|
|
have mentioned on this list before.<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
If anyone has any questions as to how I compiled my tools, feel free<br>
|
|
to email me. I am updating my document to reflect the new changes and<br>
|
|
will post the web site when it becomes available.<br>
