Hello List,
When I bring up xscanimage as a user and use the select device
whether pnm 0 or pnm 1 I get invalid parameters. When I log in as root
I get the same result except microtek:/dev/scanner also is choosable. I
can change the values for the scan size but it does not effect either of
the other choices when I log on as a user. I can only scan when logged
on as root and only with the micotek:/dev/scanner. This is sane-0.72
running under Slackware 3.3 with kernel 2.0.33.
How can I tell the scanner what the correct parameters are so that I
can scan as a user.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Peter Hall
