That is something that - at least I think - should not be done in the<br>
|
|
scanner driver. For that you have to have root-rights, so it is not a<br>
|
|
good idea if I think about it.<br>
|

I wrote a file "addumax" and "delumax" that does this call (has been included<br>
|
|
in "umax-cli") I will see if we can include this files into the sane-tools<br>
|
|
as "addscanner" and "delscanner".<br>
