I got some problems with the program 'xscanimage'under Linux.<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
My system consists of HP scanjet5p and AHA2940.<br>
|
|
I have set up gtk, the latest gimp and sane as said in the <br>
|
|
documentation, I put the line /dev/sg0 to the hp.conf and made <br>
|
|
a link /dev/scanner to /dev/sg0. When invoked, 'xscanimage' said <br>
|
|
something about a snapscan, which I don't have. So I set all lines in <br>
|
|
the dll.conf under remark but 'hp'.<br>
|
|
Now when I call 'xscanimage' I get a dialog box to choose<br>
|
|
the device but after having clicked 'ok' it simply vanishes and <br>
|
|
nothing happens.<br>
|
