What exactly is your problem? I have not been able to get any TWAIN support<br>
|
|
going under Wine either, I get messages about Vxd 5aa6 not been supported<br>
|
|
when I select aquire/scan to start up the Vistascan TWAIN driver, then<br>
|
|
depending on the software it crashes, or in the case of Logitech's FotoTouch<br>
|
|
Colour nicely reports that it can't establish a link to the Vistascan<br>
|
|
TWAIN driver. What scanner do you have, and what software have you tried?<br>
|
|

|
|
I have been using Umax's test program and copier program, neither of which<br>
|
|
use the TWAIN interface, to get what information I can about the scanner.<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
I suspect that Wine needs some patches to add in support for TWAIN. I<br>
|
|
also suspect that I will need to add support for this to Wine to enable<br>
|
|
me to get enough information to write the SANE backend for the Astra 600P.<br>
|
|
Anyone know where I can get some documentation on TWAIN?<br>
|
