at first sorry for my english :-(<br>

Im a linux user, I'm under redHat 5.0 and i try to use a mustek scanner.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
<p>
|
||
The scaner is the device /dev/sga , i had make a link for /dev/scanner<br>
|
||
to /dv/sga and i do chmod 777 /dev/sga<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
the file /proc/scsi/scsi is:<br>
|
||

|
||

I run the gimp, and when i try to scan images , just when i do the<br>

option "device dialog" the gimp crah and the error message is:<br>

||

||
query plug-in: "/usr/lib/gimp/0.99.12/plug-ins/xscanimage"<br>

||
[snapscan] add_device: "SCANNER " is not an AGFA SnapScan<br>
|
||
[snapscan] sane_snapscan_init: failed to add device "/dev/scanner"<br>

||

||
¿ how can i say gimp that the scanner is a mustek?<br>
