Dear sir,<br>

||
My name is Vassili Akimov. I just became SANE user and really enjoy the<br>
|
||
thing. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I am experiensed SANE/Gimp user<br>
|
||
so I cannot run xscanimage as plugin of Gimp. It is not a big deal but<br>
|
||
if you would advise me what I have to do to be able finally start up the<br>
|
||
xscanimage under the Gimp I would really appretiate. I have SANE version<br>
|
||
0.70 and Gimp version 0.99.18. Scanner is HP scanjet 5p. I linked<br>
|
||
xscanimage into my .gimp/plugins directory as it described in man but<br>
|
||
when Gimp starts and fires up the plugins, xscanimage complains : "-g<br>
|
||
unrecognised option" and then gives me list of avaliable options.<br>
|
||
Afterall I cannot find xscanimage in any of Gimp menues. If you would<br>
|
||
point me what I made wrong I would really appretiate. Thank you very<br>
|
||
