Hiya!

When using sane/linux/buslogic, my <subject> sounds wierd (like it scans a
bit, goes back and scans some of it again) and the colors are messed up -
if I use the supplied program/adapter under win95, the "sound of scanning"
sounds normal, and the picture comes out pretty nice..

.. but starting win95 every time I gotta scan an image is *not* an
option.. somewhere in the sane docs (don't ask me where) it was mentioned
that some of the <subject>'s produced jerky colors with sane, and nobody
really knew what was wrong.. can this be true?

I'm using
- Linux kernel 2.1.85
- Sane 0.70
- BusLogic BT-542BH (even tried with an Adaptec 1542cf)

Help! <sound of wimper>

cya!
