I just went through the mailing list for sane as archived off the main <br>
|
||
Web page.<br>
|
||

||
Having just found the SANE project today, this seemed to be the best <br>
|
||
place to ask my question.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
I am looking for a piece of software running under FreeBSD/Linux which <br>
|
||
allows a person to:<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
1. Scan images under Unix<br>
|
||
2. Save these images as a file<br>
|
||
3. use postgresql to index/access these images<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
What I'm looking for is a document storage and retrieval system. The<br>
|
||
eventual purpose is to tie the scanned images to my accounting system of<br>
|
||
choice. If the free money project (<a href="http://www.telly.org">http://www.telly.org</a>) bears fruit, I<br>
|
||
would integrate it into free money. Otherwise, I'll tie at into Cougar<br>
|
||
Mountain Accounting. <br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
It is anyone working on a document storage system using sane? If such a <br>
|
||
project needs a home, I should be able to give it storage space and network <br>
|
||
space. <br>
|
||
