||
Thank you very much for this piece of software. Now that I can start to<br>
|
||
use my scanner with Linux, I can format the Micro$oft Windows partition.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
I still have one problem.<br>
|
||
If I acquire an image, grayscale, at 100dpi resolution almost<br>
|
||
everything goes fine but the scanner stops the image acquisition a few<br>
|
||
lines before the phisical end of the glass.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
Then, if I try to acquire an image, grayscale again, at 200 dpi<br>
|
||
resolution the scanner does not stop at all and tries to continue the<br>
|
||
image acquisition even if already at the end of the glass. So I have to<br>
|
||
stop it manually to avoid a hardware failure.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
The image acquired at 200dpi seems to be "compressed".<br>
|
||
The higher the resolution, the worse the image is.<br>
|
||
<p>
|
||
Here there is the output of scanimage with SANE_DEBUG_MUSTEK=128:<br>

I know that my scanner should not work at all with sane due to its<br>

firmware revision, but sane is my last resort. Please help!<br>

I had this problem with sane-0.66 and with sane-0.68, too.<br>
|
||
