Does anyone know of any problems with the Linux /dev/sg device correctly
handling SCSI check-condition situations?

I've seen sporadic complaints on the Net that sg doesn't properly return
condition codes. I'd like to start bulletproofing the Microtek backend
by properly handling error conditions, but I'd like to get some background
on this mechanism before I potentially frustrate myself.

Thanks,

ps: Anyone have any experience with Advansys SCSI cards (e.g. PB-940U)?
They appear to be bus-mastering, cheap, and Advansys itself wrote the
Linux driver, but no mention is made in any HOWTO's....
