If you saw crashes with the umax backend, could you try out this
version of gtk and let me know whether it fixes the problem?
Subject: [gtk-list] Gtk-971025 is released
Date: Sat, 25 Oct 1997 02:24:43 -0500
Reply-to: federico@nuclecu.unam.mx

Hello, everyone

I have just released version 971025 of Gtk+. Peter told me that he
was extremely busy and that he could not put out a new release, so I
did.

You can find gtk+971025 here:

ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gtk

New in this release are bugfixes and the still-experimental drag and
drop patches by Elliot Lee.

It would be a good idea if people could fix and finish support for
drag and drop. This is a very important feature that will be of use
in the Gnome and Gimp projects, and it needs to be finished soon.

Have fun,

Quartic
