Just began checking the SANE driver for scanning.<br>
|
|
I used an Mustek MFS-12000SP . FW Revision is 1.04 .<br>
|
|
I enlarged the Buffer of the generic SCSI Devices to 128k<br>
|
|
(I have 64M of RAM, so it doesn't matter)<br>
|
|
(SCSI was both used: a) AHA 2940, b) an ncr53c400 card )<br>
|
|

|
|
<p>
|
|
Now I encountered some strange behavior:<br>
|
|
a) always at the end of the 128K Buffer the image gets <br>
|
|
corrupted, not really corrupted, but it looses a bunch of Lines<br>
|
|
(easy to see, if you scan in gray mode) (It also might be at the<br>
|
|
beginning of the buffer ?)<br>
|
|
b) while scanning color images it seems that the image is beeing <br>
|
|
reassembled with some sort of vertikel disalignment. (So black<br>
|
|
disolves into its 3 Colors )<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
I supect the driver is miscounting something at the beginning /end<br>
|
|
of the buffer ?<br>
|
