I've got a UMAX Astra 600S connected bo my Linux PC. I've managed to get<br>
|
|
sane0.61 compiled and I've gotten xscanimage to run, but the image doesn't<br>
|
|
look correct. It looks as though it is scanning the same few lines over<br>
|
|
and over again. Looks something like (I'll try to emulate it in ASCII :):<br>

Has anyone gotten the Astra 600S to work with xscanimage and sane? If so,<br>

what did you have to do?<br>

|
|
BTW: I'm running Debian Linux with the 2.0.27 kernel, my SCSI adapter is<br>
|
|
an Adaptec 2940.<br>
|
