First of all I am sorry for the (confusing) mail in German. I thought<br>
sending it only to Frank and not to the list.<br>
I could test my scanner on another system (with sane-0.6) and it worked<br>
fine. But there<br>
must be something wrong with my system but I couldn`t figure it out yet.<br>

Does anybody has an idea ?<br>

The Scanner initializes, steps forward and stops.<br>
I tried it with certain kernels but it didn`t help.<br>
