Seriously: I think all the necessary b&w code is there, but there are<br>
|
|
obviously some bugs in it. It may be a good idea to take a look at a<br>
|
|
driver that is known to work with the b&w camera and see what the SANE<br>
|
|
backend is doing wrong. A list of QCam drivers can be found at:<br>

It sounds like the bits aren't read off the wire properly. May be a<br>
|
|
stupid bug or it may be due to problems with the parallel port (I<br>
|
|
run my quickcam in standard, bi-direction mode, so that part is fairly<br>
|
|
well tested; I'm less sure about the uni-directional code).<br>

Yes. The idea of --test-image is to test everything except the actual<br>
|
|
CCD. That makes it much easier to diagnose problems with the hw<br>

setup.<br>
