If you get mysterious unresolved references for gtk_gamma_new and<br>
similar symbols while building SANE, you may want to use the following<br>
workaround:<br>
<p>
- delete all glib, gdk, and gtk related files in /usr/local/lib<br>
<p>
- redo "make install" in the gtk+ directory<br>
<p>
- try building SANE again<br>
<p>
This is due to a known bug in gtk+ whose fix unfortunately didn't make<br>
it in my version.<br>
