It's a known problem with the 5p. Unlike all other ScanJets, the 5p<br>
|
|
doesn't support the commands that specify the scan area in decipoints.<br>
|
|
Instead, it only supports the commands that use the device-pixel unit.<br>
|
|
So the HP backend needs to be changed to use the device-pixel commands<br>
|
|
(all ScanJet scanners support this). It's not hard to do, but since I<br>
|
|
don't have an HP scanner myself (yet), I can't do this effectively.<br>
|
|
If you want to give a shot at it, let me know (I have the docs for the<br>
|
|
necessary commands).<br>
