Does anyone know of a way to turn off the Mustek Paragon MFS-6000CX's lamp<br>
|
|
when the scanner is not needed? I believe it affects the lamp's livetime<br>
|
|
to have it on all the time and I don't quite like the idea to reboot my<br>
|
|
system just to make the scanner (which I usually turn off to save the<br>
|
|
lamp) known to it. I know some scanners that have their lights turned on<br>
|
|
for scanning and turn them off after some idle time. It would be quite<br>
|
|
sufficient for me though to have the possibility to turn it off manually.<br>
|
|
Or can the scsi-system cope with the scanner being turned off and on<br>
|
|
during runtime?<br>
