Now I'm confused. How did you acquire the 300dpi image that you sent<br>
me this morning? With xscan? If so, I guess the status is this:<br>
<p>
- xscan works with all resolutions, but it runs slower than expected<br>
<p>
- scan's performance is fine, but it crashes at resolutions &gt;18dpi<br>
<p>
Is this correct?<br>
<p>
Also, could you send me the values of variables "i", "offset", "len",<br>
"image", and "parm" at the point where the program gets the SIGSEGV?<br>
(You can use gdb's "print" command for this, e.g., "print i" etc...)<br>
