The new snapshot worked fine configuring on my P6. One thing I noticed,
is that xscan.c looks for gimp.h in a usual include directory, and it
seems like with the latest gimp's from the development tree, that it
places gimp.h in /usr/local/include/libgimp/gimp.h. Just a little minor
detail.

As far as testing the qcam, I only have a B&W. Will it even attempt to
find my qcam with it being a B&W, because it doesn't even seem to try to
locate it.

The gtk window just pops up listing no devices, and I do have a qcam.conf
/etc/sane.d

Soon I will have a Mustek 12000SP and I can't wait to get it to work with
sane, well because if it doesn't, it's no good to me since I don't have
any windoze machines.

You suggested to me a few emails back, a scsi adapter to use with the
Mustek, I seemed to have lost that email, if you could give that to me
that be great. Also I was wondering, just for testing purposed, will the
DTC SCSI card work with sane and the Mustek, or is that out of the
question. The thing is I want to get the scanner working so I know it
will work with my machine, then I can go out and get another SCSI adapter.

Thanks for all your great work and help.
> Can you try the new snapshot and see how that works?
>
> Oh, while fixing P6 support, I also added support for the
> SANE_NET_HOSTS environment variable in the net backend (this feature
> was documented in net.README, but not implemented so far). I also
> tested scanning through a connection using IP masquerading and it all
> works fine.
>
> Enjoy,
